But they fail to see the giant Shaman bug, called totems. (GG Paladin vs Shaman inbalance?)

They nerfed WF :< But woho - improved wf and str/agi totems in the enhancement tree Cant wait to see the talent calc... Lotsa discussion will begin then, but as i see it - Dont think theres "1" way to spec anymore Theres improvement all over (except for the wf part... but theres another talent that gives improved melee damage... So lets see) Windwall Totem: Greatly improved damage reduced by this totem. - strong :x And lfg UBRS!

For raiding, isn't this quite nice? Healing Way (3 point): Healing Wave spells cast on the target cause an effect that increases the effectiveness of any Healing Wave spell cast on that target by 6% for 15 seconds. This effect will stack of to three times.
In a raid situation I'd reckon that would be on a tank about nonstop? also Healing Stream Totem: This totem now receives increased healing from effects that increase the Shaman's healing and spell damage.
They're trying to make it useful? I'll take the same to mana spring and mana tide, ty. Speaking of which, mana tide isn't mentioned... hopefully it won't be behind all those abysmal talents it is now.

> They nerfed WF
Just to clarify - they nerfed shammy self-windfury, not windfury totem.

Lible - rogue; Mergen - hunter; Ottar - warlock; Uhmer - alchemy; Sahver - vaultbot; Flowers - herbbot

The last change to this tree affects the 31-point talent, Mana Tide Totem. Mana regen has been increased for all ranks. Wanna see the "buff" before I believe it.. And yet the shammy community kinda hoped for the same thing as druids, that it was made baseline. Guilds are still gonna cry for mana tide But at least they made it better, wanna see how much first tho. And no Zeni, I beat you with a 40 dps dagger in a suit that doesnt give me either str, agi or critchance

In a raid situation I'd reckon that would be on a tank about nonstop? We're not really using the Healing Wave (edit: assuming its the healing wave and not lhw that some pallys on the boards are whining about it is...), its been made a little more efficient with the previous patch, manawise (6% or 9% cant remember atm), but prior to that, it had no use at all, since it healed for 2x the ammount of a lesser healing wave, costing the double mana and taking twice the ammount of time to cast , but noone really uses it still. I've been trying out - but only due to being able to crit for 3k+ heals with the new tablet from AQ20, and having the 8 set EF bonus which grants heals to 2 additional targets around it. If i where gonna spec mana tide i'd also take the talent that grants .5 sec casting time off the healing wave. But that was already planned before reading this. I'd like to see the talent calc which will specify the changes it a little more - so if someone sees it before me, post it!

Been a while since I last played my shammy so I somehow remembered it was healing wave / greater healing wave.

People are suggesting to use rank 1 healing wave (1 sec cast? - havent checked) to get the effect tho... But i fail to see the real use, since you actually need to heal aswell... But maybe 3 low rank spells followed by 3-4 big heals... But at least 1 out of 5 heals are useless - so i guess the effect will be useless aswell. Unless ofc all the shammies use it, and just 1 guy keep it running. Could be usefull at vael etc (rant ends here!) Cant really see the big picture atm - wanna see the "real" tooltip before speculating

Another thing - if you want the improved WF totem, there will be shamans without mana tide. According to self-made talentcalcs anyway http://home.no.net/gmg/shaman/ - Edit: http://www.cmd.tech.nhl.nl/users/boer013/shaman/ (Other one seems to have used its bandwith) Elemental Talents - 0 point(s)
Enhancement Talents - 30 point(s) Ancestral Knowledge rank 5/5 Thundering Strikes rank 5/5 Improved Ghost Wolf rank 1/2 Enhancing Totems rank 3/3 Two-Handed Axes and Maces rank 1/1 Flurry rank 5/5 Elemental Weapons rank 3/3 Parry rank 1/1 Improved Weapon Totems rank 2/2 Weapon Mastery rank 4/5
Restoration Talents - 21 point(s) Tidal Focus rank 5/5 Totemic Focus rank 5/5 Healing Focus rank 5/5 Totemic Mastery rank 1/1 Healing Grace rank 3/3 Tidal Mastery rank 1/5 Nature's Swiftness rank 1/1
Would be something like this if you want the improved wf totem. No Healing Way and such. Even struggeling getting the wanted enhancement talents to get NS :x

So now there is finally a reason to have some shamans specced without mana tide (raidwise). Congratz Cami, you're not useless anymore!
