Potential Applicants should read this entire post

Welcome to the Power Overwhelming forums. We are a Horde guild on the Skullcrusher (EU) server, progressing through the end game 10/25 man PVE instances. While not fully hardcore we still consider us a solid raiding guild and applicants are supposed to be an active part of our raids.

Current Recruitment Status

We are looking for the following classes/specs. Even if a class/spec is labeled as "closed" we will still look at your application and exceptional players still have a good chance to join our guild.

Death Knight: Closed
Druid: Open for Balance and Resto - Closed for Feral (both tank and DPS)
Hunter: Closed
Mage: Closed
Paladin: Closed
Priest: Open for Healer spec (prefer Disc) - Closed for shadow
Rogue: Closed
Shaman: Closed
Warlock: Open
Warrior:  Closed

Basic Requirements

You must be able to meet the following basic requirements for your application to be considered:

General:
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have a good understanding of the English language
  • You should be prepared to use ventrilo (voice chat application). Microphone is an advantage.
  • Your computer must be able to handle 25 man raids.
  • You must have a fast and stable internet conection.
  • We are looking for dedicated long term players, that are going to be loyal to the guild. Show some patience!

Raiding:
  • We are recruiting for an active raid roster. If you are unable to keep pace with or are uninterested in joining progression raids, you should not apply. Patience is expected on learning encounters.
  • You should have a full set of PVE gear, a raid friendly spec and a good understanding of your class. An offspec you are experienced in (with decent gear) improves your chances of being accepted.
  • We raid Thursday, Sunday and Monday 19.30-23.00 server time. We expect a high raid attendance (after all, it's "only" three days per week). During your trial phase it will have to be close to100%.
  • Patience. We will wipe on encounters for extended times, that's part of raid progression. You must be able to handle this.
  • Classes are sometimes over-subscribed for some popular raids, which means a rotation system has to take effect whereby some people can miss out on a raid. You must be prepared to participate in this.
  • We use the EPGP system for loot assignment, you must have no issues with this method.
  • You should already have extensive first-hand experience of current endgame content and a willingness to fully research unknown encounters before applying.

Should your application be accepted you will be placed as a trialist during the first four weeks. This is to ensure that we feel you would be a good fit within the guild and can meet the commitments we expect, and also give you an opportunity to experience the guild first hand! During this time it is possible that your application is still refused.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask Sarabelle, Starzi, or any other online officer.

Good luck within all your adventures!

Post your application as a new thread in the Applications Board
You can register to our forum here.

You must use the following template for your application.

Please use your player name, class and spec/role as the thread topic. Fill this out to the best of your ability. Stuff like formatting, correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation greatly increases your chance of being a recruit. Please take time to fill this out, putting on a bare bones application does not look good.
